Dr. Anthony Fauci

Dr. Fauci was appointed director of NIAID in 1984. He oversees an extensive portfolio of basic and applied research to prevent, diagnose, and treat established infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, respiratory infections, diarrheal diseases, tuberculosis, and malaria as well as emerging diseases such as Ebola and Zika. NIAID also supports research on transplantation and immune-related illnesses, including autoimmune disorders, asthma, and allergies.

Dr. Raj Dasgupta, MD, FACP, FCCP, FAASM, and Healthline Advisor

Dr. Raj Dasgupta is a faculty member at the University of Southern California. He’s quadruple board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He’s the assistant program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and the associate program director of the Sleep Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Dasgupta is an active clinical researcher and has been teaching around the world for more than 15 years. Dr. Timothy Legg, PhD, PsyD, CRNP, ACRN, CPH, and Healthline Advisor

Dr. Timothy Legg is board certified as both a geriatric and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and is also a licensed psychologist. He graduated from Touro College in New York with a doctorate in health sciences research and education and from California Southern University in Irvine, California, with a doctorate in clinical psychology. He’s currently a university professor and clinician in private practice. He’s certified in addiction counseling, public health, health education, and is also an AIDS-certified registered nurse.

Dr. E Hanh Le leads Healthline’s Medical Affairs team. She brings her years of clinical and healthcare technology experience to help consistently create high-quality, empathetic, and engaging content and products that uphold the highest medical integrity. She received her MD from Baylor College of Medicine and completed residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas. She has also helped create an EHR system, secure messaging products, and clinical decision support tools for healthcare systems.
