How to Find Your Eyeglasses Frame Size
Whether you're shopping for a new pair of horn-rimmed glasses, prescription sunglasses, or anything in between, it's best to know your frame size before going online. The truth is, figuring it out is quite easy. The article below will show you how to determine your frame size, allowing you to find your perfect fit effortlessly.
1. Finding Your Frame Measurements

Frames on websites are often filtered, among other categories, by size: Small (sometimes indicated by an S), Medium (M) and Large (L). So how do you shop glasses by size and get your fit right?

That’s where numbers and your current pair of glasses come in :)

The vast majority of glasses display the measurements somewhere on the frame. More often than not you’ll find these numbers on the inside of the temple arms

The numbers, in order (from left to right), will refer to your current glasses lens width, followed by bridge width and the length of your temple.

2. Finding Your Frame Size
Now that you have your frame measurements, finding out your frame size is super simple. When looking for glasses on the site, there is a ‘Find Your Size’ button on the left side of the screen.

Press the button, and enter your current glasses frame measurements in the relevant field. The Frame Size Finder tool will run the numbers and recommend the best fit for you, be it Small, Medium or Large.

Advanced Tip: You can go about finding the right frame and fit in a different way. Each frame on the site has its measurement & details displayed, to the right of the glasses image. Simply click on ‘Frame & Measurements’ and you’ll see each pair’s details, and decide whether it’s close enough to a current pair you have and you’re comfortable with.

3. What If You Don’t Already Have a Pair of Glasses?
No worries. If you don’t have a pair of glasses to go by, or can’t find any frame measurements on display, you have two options: To use our Virtual Mirror to try on any frame on the site and see how it looks on you or to measure your glasses yourself.
  • To measure the lens width: Measure the lenses at their widest point from left to right.
  • To measure the bridge width: Measure from the left edge of the right lens to the right edge of the left lens where the frame rests on the nose of the bridge.
  • To measure the temple arms length: First, measure from the hinge to the elbow, then measure from the elbow to the far end of the tip.

That’s it! Now you know how to find your glasses size. It’s time to put that knowledge to work and choose a new pair of glasses. Check out over 7000 styles, enjoy exclusive discounts and find your perfect fit.
