Women's Prenatal FAQs

Why is the serving size 8 capsules?!

We use more choline, magnesium, and calcium than most prenatals. These three critical nutrients are BIG but necessary for healthy fertility, pregnancy, breastfeeding, but difficult to get enough through diet alone.

Why doesn't your prenatal contain iron?

Iron needs and tolerance vary significantly by individual. We suggest you monitor your iron status with your healthcare practitioner and if you do need supplemental iron, take it separately in appropriate doses at their recommendation. This way, you don’t risk having iron interfere with the absorption of other critical nutrients in your prenatal.

Why is my urine bright yellow after taking my vitamins?!

Both our men's and women's prenatals contain water-soluble Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin). The "flavin" component, which is a bright yellow color, is responsible for the change in urine color. Yellow urine does not mean that you are not absorbing those nutrients! It is simply a normal, natural byproduct of this water-soluble B vitamin.

Great vitamin

I switched due to concerns with ingredients in my former prenatal that Fullwell's does not contain. It has great vitamins in it and covers one I personally am concerned about when pregnant or trying to conceive! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality vitamin.

Great for TTC, but hard to get through during pregnancy

I was TTC for about 6 months until I gave this prenatal a try. We got the recommendation from our nutritionist and was amazed at how much vitamins were in it. I felt a difference in my energy levels and wellbeing after of week of using it, and was happy to take it everyday. I paired it along with the fertility booster, and fish oil ....and we became pregnant about 5 months later!! I'm so happy that it helped with our journey!!
But during my first trimester along with nausea and vomiting, taking 8 capsules a day was so hard to get through. I would try at least half but it was so hard to keep down, and it triggered gagging and vomiting. So I had to get a gummy prenatal from the pharmacy to have at least something. Now that I'm in my second trimester and the nausea is almost gone, I've been able to take Fullwell again at 6-8 pills a day.
I just wish there was an alternative gummy version for moms during their first trimester! But overall, love this product and I'm grateful for it.

The best quality affordable prenatal

I did alot of research into prenatal vitamins and this is the best on the market for the value. It has everything you need, and more! Can’t recommend it enough. It is 8 pills a day but if you split them up with your meals it’s not too much to manage. And the fact that is is 8 pills should tell you how packed full of quality vitamins it really is!

Terrible! The eight servings are a pain to take to take.

They are hard on the stomach and I had to stop after a few days. Complete waste of money.

Hi there, there's a good reason why our serving is 8/day! We use more choline, magnesium, and calcium than most prenatals. These three critical nutrients are BIG but necessary for healthy fertility, pregnancy, breastfeeding, but difficult to get enough through diet alone. They take up the majority of the capsule space. Note that FullWell is founded and all products are formulated by a Registered Dietitian with 20 years of experience and who specializes in fertility and perinatal nutrition. We take a different approach than companies founded by marketing execs.

One thing that can help with taking the full serving daily is dividing it up into 2-3 doses. Example: 3 with breakfast, 2 with lunch, 3 with dinner. Pairing with meals will help with tolerance and dividing the doses makes it much more manageable.

Thank you for your feedback, we know the 8/day is not for everyone and wish you the best.

Great

After recently finding out I have two variations on MTHFR, I knew I needed to get a better dose of good folate. I was happy to see how much is in these pills, plus other things that most regular prenatals don’t have. I split my doses to 2 at every meal and a snack before dinner and it isn’t hard to keep track of. I’m glad knowing my baby and body are getting way more vitamins this time around after two losses back to back.
